Sewer Backup Floods Neighborhood in West Hartford CT
Some homes had more than 6 feet of raw sewage and storm water filling their basement, destroying all their belongings. Out on the street waste water continued to gush human waste and storm water which flooded into at least 20 homes. SERVPRO was on the scene, working with multiple homeowners and city officials to mitigate the damage. The flooding sewage was a result of a collapsed 60 foot section of pipe lining, leading to the major break. SERVPRO pumped out basements, removing damaged belongings and structural materials. Disinfecting and drying the homes. And preparing for reconstruction.
